ART GALLERY by The Artwoods.....first and only UK pressing on red Decca unboxed label, LK 4830...XARL-7481-1A ... XARL -7482-1A matrixes ... one of the legendary 60s albums that needs no introduction.... Cover; EX...front absolutely perfect...spine has 6 small cracks but clear and fully legible...rear is stunningly clean and unmarked but song titles have been crossed by someone with decidedly suspect tastes...single foldover is perfect and undamaged.....Vinyl; hard to grade...track2 side1 has a bizarre scratch with runs in line with the grooves which causes the needle to jump forward three times and clicks on about 10 rotations. Otherwise the LP plays perfectly with no surface noise at all. The vinyl retains its shine and shows only light withdrawal marks. If it weren't for the scratch I'd grade it nr MINT. Perhaps it can be repaired?....despite the scratch this is otherwise a stunning copy of a very rare record...John Lord's Hammond is insane!!!!!!
