Description
The iconic 1st album by THE BAND( Bob Dylan's band at the time-see sticker on the front cover) with the classic "The Weight". Original Capitol rainbow label SKAO 2955. I believe this is a 1st pressing (deadwax, A1, A1). I bought this album when it first came out in 1968. The gatefold album cover is VG+: no splits; a little ring wear on the front and back, some seam wear, very light corner and spine wear; initials on the back cover upper left. The vinyl is a strong VG+: only a few light hairline marks and a small scuff, no scratches you can feel. Play tested all the way thru with no skips and only very light surface noise in a few spots. The record sounds great and retains lots of gloss. Please email me with any questions.
