Description

This is THE BAND'S first album from 1968.  They were Bob Dylan's backup band and Bob did the art work on the album cover.  The gatefold cover is a strong VG+:  no splits, very minor corner,  seam or spine wear.  Initials on the top right back cover.  The vinyl is a strong VG+ to EX:  no scratches and only a few very faint lines and a couple light scuffs.  No spindle wear and the record looks like it's hardly been played - lots of original gloss.  Visually inspected only- I saw no need to play test.  This unique album features one of the greatest songs and greatest singers of  our time:  "The Weight" sung by Levon Helm.  Deadwax:  Side 1 -  B2     Side 2 - A1.  5 pics.  Please email me with any questions.
