Description

Original First Pressing of the triple LP album documenting The Band's "farewell" concert which took place at Bill Graham's Winterland Ballroom on Thanksgiving Day 1976. The event included an actual Thanksgiving dinner for 5,000 attendees, with ballroom dancing and a stage set for La traviata borrowed from the San Francisco Opera.

With Ronnie Hawkins, Paul Butterfield, Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, The Staple Singers, Emmylou Harris, Neil Young.

Great sounding copy! Vinyl shows some very minor scuffing, hairlines that do not affect play. I listened to all 3 records and they all play flawlessly! I think I heard 3 small ticks over the entire set. Both cover and booklet are a little rough - VG
