THE BAND-MUSIC FROM BIG PINK 1969 CAPITOL RECORDS GATEFOLD LP SKAO-2955 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! The one time backing band for Bob Dylan out on their home creating music at the home studio, Big Pink, in this auction. Robbie Robertson, Garth Hudson and the boys gave us a classic and one of the best releases of the late 60's. Classic cuts such as The Weight, Tears Of Rage, To Kingdom Come and Caledonia Mission all appear on this must one debut album from the Band. All fans of the Band or the sounds of the late 60's need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very small, very light hairline on each side neither of which hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The gatefold cover has mild wear along the edges with the exception of the very center top edge where there is a 1/4" split. There are also mild rubs on the corners. The original inner sleeve has a small split. An awesome buy!!
