Hello, a little about bat1948, I am a retired senior citizen supplementing my income with the sale of many unique and eclectic items. I am not a big company, just a person bringing you MY CUSTOMER, a good bargain on all my items and making a little extra money for myself.

At bat1948 my goal first and foremost is to bring you, the consumer, unique items that will aid in the successful continuation of happy return customers. The items I put up for auction are guaranteed in perfect or near perfect condition unless stated in my descriptions.. More often than not the only "defect" present in my listings is the fact that the seal on the box has been broken. It is my promise to you that the descriptions given in each auction will very as accurate as possible upon its listing on eBay. The photograph featured in any of my listing you are viewing is a picture of the actual item (unless specified in the listing of the item on eBay).

Shipping

While I do strive to expand my customer base and wish to offer a variety of options for which to ship products, this takes time. As such, we ask that you please allow 3-8 business days for delivery. As stated in each auction, the shipping and handling costs are clearly specified. If an item should be damaged during shipping, please leave the item as was received and contact bat1948 immediately for further instructions. I will credit your PayPal account upon my receopt of the item in question with a full refund,buyer is responsible for any return postage costs,and are non-refundable.

Finalizing The Bid

eBay charges a fee for every listing. After 7days, we are forced to issue a non-paying bidder alert and let eBay know that the item in question was not paid for. This is done only in the effort to reclaim the fee that was charged to list the item initially. It is not our wish to leave negative feedback for any eBay customer, but I will follow through and I will leave a non-paying bidder mark on any accounts in question. Although the cost of packing materials has gone up.

( Boxes, Packing peanuts and Bubble wrap have almost doubled in price).I continue to keep my shipping charges as close as possible to the actual postage charged to me. I strive to pack items the best we can with the greatest amount of packing material so your items do not get damaged in transit. I have had very few claims with carriers and want to continue to provide good service without cutting corrners. The right way is the only way with bat1948 !

Because each item offered for sale is being listed at somewhat of a discounted price to the consumer, we can sell each item only once. As with all return facilities, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The only exception to this policy would be if the wrong item were shipped to you by mistake, because in that instance the fault would be ours. Contact should be made within 72 hours to begin the resolution process. If you contact us by email, be sure to include a daytime and evening phone number. If I do authorize a return it is the buyers responsibility to pay the return shipping.

We offer no warranties on my items only my word item is as described..

Local Pick Ups

Local pickup is available by appointment only. Please email me 24 hours in advance to set up a convenient time. All items that will be picked up locally may be paid in advance with PayPal,or with cash in person. Please bring as close to exact change as we will not be able to make change.

If you are picking your item up locally it must be paid within 7 days and picked up within 10 days of the end of the auction.
