Brand new and sealed, 2016 pressing of the critically acclaimed and highly influential album Pet Sounds.
Pet Sounds is the 11th studio album by the Beach Boys, released on May 16, 1966. It met a lukewarm critical and commercial response in the United States, peaking at number ten in the Billboard 200 chart, a significantly lower placement than the band's preceding albums. In the United Kingdom, the album was lauded by critics who declared it "the most progressive pop album ever", reaching number two in the UK Top 40 Albums Chart, where it remained among the top 10 for six months. In later years, Pet Sounds garnered enormous worldwide acclaim by critics and musicians alike, and is considered one of the most influential albums in the history of popular music.
