Description
For sale is a First Pressing vinyl release of Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys (Capitol Records, DT 2458).
This 1966 first edition pressing is Duophonic. It has the Matrix Runout # DT-1-2458-B-16 / DT-2-2458-A-15 as well as the #6 on the bottom of the back cover which denotes an LA pressing plant variation!
Please know that this is not in collector's grade quality but would still make a great addition for any fan of The Beach Boys. The sound is decent despite some superficial marks. the covers are suitable for framing even though it does have a name in pen written on top of front cover. See below for more details.
Disc is VG+ and was lovingly played, noticeable wear including superficial scratches and a few scuffs. The second side has initials written on label. Plays with very faint crackle during opening and a bit of faint hiss during quiet parts, otherwise Closer to VG++!!
Jacket would be VG+ if not for writing on cover (under "Duophonic") and a 4" split on spine, a bit of discoloration on back cover but otherwise very presentable!!
Includes original Capitol printed inner sleeve!!
