Description

Here is a hard to find and beautiful copy of the first single by The Beach Boys: "Surfin" b/w "Luau" (Candix 301). Released in 1961. This is the third pressing of this single, the first being Candix 331 and the second being X 301. 

"Surfin" is written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love, and "Luau" was written by Bruce Morgan, the son of Hite Morgan, who produced these sessions.

The record visually is in VG to VG+ condition. Some minor label wear, but no writing, stickers, or tears. Strong colors in the Candix logo on both sides. The vinyl has beautiful gloss, just a few very light scuffs. Really one of the nicer copies I've come across. Play grades VG+ as both sides sound strong and clear through some noise.
