TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale in my auctions - from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" in great condition! Here is one of those early, rare and collectible LP`s by one of the greatest R'n'R group's ever, The Beach Boys - and is yet another album which is in super good, almost like new condition - both the vinyl and jacket. The album - still in it's original shrink wrap but opened, price tag and all - is on the original Capitol Label and is entitled "Shut Down, Volume 2" (although I don't think there was ever a Volume 1 - LOL). The album includes 12 great songs from the group, including the title song ("Shut Down, Part ll"), plus "Fun Fun Fun", "Don't Worry Baby", "The Warmth Of The Sun" and 8 others - all in MONO and in great shape (see pics above for all song titles and more). The record even comes with the original Capitol Records inner sleeve which advertises other LP releases from that time and is also in beautiful condition. I have listed - and will continue to list - many other LP's, EP's and 45's in the weeks and months ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, Capitol Label (T 1998) is nearly perfect with no serious issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in much need of a mention. In my opinion, it looks so good it might have never been played, but it's at least about as good as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this very colorful and photogenic "car" jacket - still enclosed in it's original shrink wrap, but opened - is also super clean with no issues to list here either - it too is nearly perfect! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this LP is in nearly perfect shape - especially for an opened, and probably played, item. FYI, I intend to list 2-3 other early Beach Boy LP's this week, so please continue to check this site if you are interested. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
