Description

Absolutely beautiful copies of both the Beatles' red and blue albums on red and blue vinyl. These are the amazing 1985 German audiophile pressings, using Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) technology, for the absolutely best ever sounding pressing of these collections. If you are into comparing different pressings, you know that the US Capitol pressings are pretty shabby until about 1979 or so when they switched to better machinery. And really most pressings of these records are nowhere near audiophile quality, except the Japanese pressings and this one, which I think beats them all. These records really sound beautiful; crisp, clean and very present in ways the US pressings never have. Anyhow all four discs are basically completely mint. I don't think they were ever played. The covers are almost perfectly pristine as well, with only the slightest signs of having been handled. These are top copies and the best sounding ones you will ever find.
