The Beatles : 1962-1966 and 1967-1970, widely known respectively as the Red Album and the Blue Album, on vinyl in excellent condition. These are the double compilation LP albums, originally released in 1973, that contain the Beatles' very best work from 1962 (Love Me Do) onwards. The albums bring together their most famous songs from the Beatles' entire career, covering Beatlemania, the psychedelic era, and the Apple years.
(Caveat: You can't really say 'their best work' unless you include almost everything they ever produced because, hey, this is the Beatles...)
Two magnificent double albums, which sold in vast quantities around the world. The Red Album went double Platinum in the UK and 15x Platinum in the US. The Blue Album sold in even larger quantities: again, double Platinum in the UK, but 17x Platinum in the US. To say nothing of the rest of the world. Incredible.
As you can see from the photos, both are in excellent condition. The Blue Album is on beautiful blue vinyl. Own them yourself for the first time on vinyl or upgrade your existing copies.
All eight sides play beautifully, and the gatefold covers and inner lyric sleeves are also in very good condition.
As a free bonus, I am also including a near mint copy of 10cc's Deceptive Bends vinyl LP (Mercury 910 250-2), released in 1977. Excellent in every respect, and containing two tracks that became huge singles (Good Morning Judge; The Things We Do For Love), as well as other superb songs.
"The Beatles...and 10cc? Why 10cc?", I hear you ask. Because all 10cc fans love the Beatles. And many fans of the Beatles appreciate the art-school quirkiness of 10cc too.
