Description

This week, I’m parting with some great albums from my collection that just don’t fit my focus any longer. Bid with confidence, I am a record collector as well as a comic book collector - I take pride in accurate grading and caring for my items, and you can rest assured they will be packed for safe transit (that includes removing the record from its sleeve). Please have a look at all the items I have up, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years.
1st UK pressing of the Beatles Please Please Me with the Dick James label credits on original black/gold Parlophone labels with the CORRECT flipback sleeve with photo credit placement AND original inner. All the pertinent information below:
The Beatles 'Please Please Me' Mono PMC 1202 First pressing. March 22, 1963
Sleeve: GD/VG- Handwriting in various places on back, cello tape, some separation of flipback, discoloration and tape pull on URHC of front cover near the word 'mono'. This has the correct placement of Angus McBean photo credit (the extreme right, front bottom right starting where the "s" of songs end). I have taken photos of the most serious spots on the sleeve.
Record: VG- Crackle and pops, no skips. I have listened to both sides of this record to confirm. No stampers. Matrix Side 1: XEX 421-IN Matrix Side 2: XEX 422-IN
Labels: GD/VG- The first pressing has black label with gold print and “Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print. “Dick James Mus. Co” incorrect publishing credit for “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Misery”, “Do You Want To Know A Secret” & “There’s A Place” and with 33 1/3 on the label. Label side 1 has masking tape with handwriting and some tearing, but does not obscure any important details. Spindle holes show typical wear within grade. 33 1/3 on label, no tax code.
Includes original Polythene-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve.
This is NOT a modern reissue - NOT a bootleg, this is the REAL DEAL! A VERY RARE and highly sought after LP in any condition, complete down to the original inner AND available to YOU, the American Beatles Collector, so no worries about the international struggle for getting this UK release! As always, see the high resolution pics for all the details. A difficult release to find these days in any grade and complete from the music legends! This is an exceptionally rare, complete copy here - a little worse for wear, but still playable (no skips) and enjoyable to have in your collection.
THIS RECORD WILL BE PACKED WITH CARE, records removed from sleeve, placed in archival envelopes and sent via Priority Mail. You will absolutely receive this item undamaged.
Condition is Used. Payment due by PayPal within 48 hours. Flat rate $12 in US. No iternational orders on this one, sorry. Please ask any other questions before bidding. Bid with confidence, check my feedback. I always ship record outside sleeve to protect against seam splits. Good luck and thank you for looking.
