The Beatles 1963 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of 'Please Please Me / Ask Me Why' 7" single. Released on the 11th January 1963, this comes complete with the original Parlophone sleeve.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the red Parlophone label both sides feature the ‘Recording First published 1963’ text. The a-side has an embossed ’MPT’ tax code. The a-side features ‘FACTORY SAMPLE’ sticker and an ‘A’ sticker which has some writing on. The ‘McCartney - Lennon’ writing credit on the a-side is NOT aligned correctly. The b-side is aligned correctly. A very desirable version of this early single.

The vinyl is in GOOD++ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
