Description

Tony Sheridan & The Beatles **My Bonnie / When The Saints Go Marching In** and is the second pressing with the 'narrow' lettering and 'Made In England' labels text.
This copy has a push-out centre and the original Polydor orange sleeve.
Good news is that the disc is flat and round.
Less good news includes the facts the labels have writing and pen marks on them but more significantly the playing surfaces show multiple surface marks. I can't playtest 45s but visually I'd rate the vinyl 3.5/10 for condition.
Still, to me it's eminently playable but I can't guarantee the sound quality. Yet the recordings were so musically primitive it maybe isn't a problem!
Ordinarily I wouldn't list such a less than excellent record but of course this platter is of great historical interest being where 'it' all began and before George Martin recognised their latent talent and accompanied them on their incredible journey (up to the end where living in a pressure cooker inside a goldfish bowl became too much, not to mention their own artistic hankerings).
Even in its' condition this 45 single would make a fitting addition to a Beatles collection or for a Completist.
But hey, I'm starting at 99p so let the market decide what this is worth.
No BIN price or offers accepted: this is an auction and it'll go the distance. Thanks.
