Description
THE BEATLES — “Please Please Me” / “From Me To You”
This is the ultra rare, highly sought after
1963 Vee Jay picture sleeve.
There is no writing and no stickers, the sleeve is still relatively white and clean . There is a one inch tear at the top on one side (see photos),
but it is a small, clean tear that rests in place without any missing paper. The other
temporary issue is the glue that holds one side seam together has gently come free … you can reattach seamlessly with one small drop of glue.
I would just repair it myself, but prefer to leave it to the buyer to do it so they are happy but it is a simple two second restoration.
This extremely rare sleeve has sold for upwards of $600 with many documented sales over $1,000. Because of the small paper tear, this is your opportunity to obtain a copy of this. Holy Grail Beatles collectible at a potentially good bargain..
Please see photographs, which should give an accurate depiction of the condition. Overall a very decent and presentable rarity —
one that rarely comes around.
