The Beatles - 'Beatles For Sale No. 2' E.P. GEP 8938.

The Beatles 1965 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Beatles For Sale No. 2' 7" E.P. Released on the 4th June 1965, this is one of the rarer Beatles UK E.P's. It is offered here in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Parlophone Co.Ltd' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side two label. The vinyl is housed within the original front laminated flip back sleeve which fails to state any print manufacturer on the rear. A rare demo version of this desirable Beatles E.P.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7TCE 874-1 1 GA KT

Side 2. 7TCE 875-2 4 GA KT

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition. Some light staining to the rear (see pictures).
