The Beatles - 'Beatles For Sale' E.P. GEP 8931
The Beatles 1965 UK 1st SOLID CENTRE pressing of the 'Beatles For Sale' E.P. Released on the 6th April 1965, and offered here FULLY COMPLETE with the original picture sleeve.
Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature the ‘Sold in UK….’ text and have the ‘The Parlophone Co.Ltd’ rim print. The ‘KT’ tax code is embossed on the side one label. The vinyl is thinner and lighter than you would expect from an EMI/Parlophone pressing, my guess is that this is in fact a contract pressing. The vinyl is housed within the WONDERFUL original front laminated flipback sleeve in superb condition. A very rare and seldom seen SOLID CENTRE 1st pressing of this rare Beatles E.P.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. 7TCE 860-1N 4 H KT
Side 2. 7TCE 861-1N 2 GP KT
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
Both labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. Almost EXCELLENT+.
