Description

The Beatles - ‘Rubber Soul’. PMC 1267

The Beatles 1965 UK MONO pressing of the ‘Rubber Soul’ LP. Released on the 3rd December 1965, this is the desirable XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5 matrix version. It is widely regarded as the greatest sounding issue of Rubber Soul. In addition, this is one of the finest examples you are likely to find with STUNNING EXCELLENT+ condition vinyl.

Visually the vinyl looks amazing retaining it’s just off the press sheen. The sound quality is also near perfect with only the slightest bit of very light static between tracks. A superb sounding album. Both labels are in MINT- condition showing that this has seen very little play over the years. Very hard to find in this kind of condition.

Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the ’Sold in UK….’ text and have ‘The Gramophone Co.Ltd’ rim print. No tax code is embossed on either side which is quite unusual. The vinyl is housed within the original ‘Emitex’ inner sleeve and front laminated outer sleeve.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: XEX 579-5 2 T

Side 2: XEX 580-5 3 OO

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.

The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. I shall include an additional new inner sleeve to protect the original.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
