The Beatles - 'Revolver'. PMC 7009
The Beatles 1966 UK mono FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Revolver' LP. Released on the 13th August 1966, and offered here in WONDERFUL VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT condition.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label and pressed on heavy, high quality 1966 vinyl. Both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side one label.
This issue has two label errors, the first being different types of label are applied to each side - one with a serif font and the other with a sans serif font. Take a look at the pictures below it should be quite clear. Side one also has the rare label error of having an additional '.' (dot) within the 'Sold in UK...' text line (side two is correct). Take a look at the lines and pictures below for a clear idea.

The cover of this album deserves special attention due to it's STUNNING EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition. Very hard to find one in this kind of condition these days. The vinyl is housed within the original and correct 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' inner sleeve. A highly sought after demo version of this magnificent work by The Beatles, fully complete and in great condition.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. XEX 605-2 1 G OT
Side 2. XEX 606-2 5 HA
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition on side one and EXCELLENT- condition on side two.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Seam split to the bottom edge. I will also include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.50. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
