BEAUTIFUL CONDITION, ONCE PLAYED, UNSPLIT BLUE INNERS

UK APPLE (PCSP 718) *BLUE VINYL* PRESSING OF THE BEATLES' CLASSIC "1967-1970" DOUBLE LP SET - IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION - ONLY SIDE ONE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN PLAYED THE ONE TIME, THE OTHER THREE SIDES ARE UNPLAYED AND THE AUDIO DELIVERY IS SENSATIONAL THROUGHOUT
I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANY DETAILS RELATING TO THIS PARTICULAR UK PRESSING AS THE VINYL WEIGHT, THE APPLE LABELS AND THE MATRICES ALL DIFFER FROM THE 1978 AND 1994 ISSUES WHICH I AM FAMILIAR WITH -
BOTH RECORDS ARE PRESSED ON HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL (much heavier than either the 1978 or 1994 releases)
THE LABELS ARE MATT AND TEXTURED ("Mfd in UK") WITH A DEEP SET GROOVE RING AROUND THE CENTRAL HOLE
AND THERE ARE NO MOTHER OR STAMPER NUMBERS ON ANY OF THE RUN-OFFS

Record One: YEX 909+PCS+7181+A / YEX 910+PCS+7181+B
Record Two: YEX 911+PCS+7182+C / YEX 912+PCS+7182+D
THE RECORDS ARE HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." WHICH HAS NO STICKER ON THE FRONT OR BAR CODE ON THE BACK (an indication that this is a pre-1984 pressing as UK sleeves after this date are normally bar-coded)
AND THE SET COMES COMPLETE WITH THE TWO ORIGINAL BLUE ROUNDED CORNER, TEXTURED LYRIC INNER SLEEVES

LABELS: The matt, grooved labels are clean, bright and unmarked with only one light spindle on one side, none on the others. The spindle holes are still quite tight and retain some vinyl residue indicating these records are practically unplayed - MINT
VINYL Visual: All four vinyl surfaces are clean and bright. There are some light marks which I am sure have been there since manufacture as these two records are in essence 'as-new' - these superficial marks have no audio consequence - NEAR MINT
VINYL Audio: Outstanding reproduction throughout - clean, bright and fresh with nothing to fault the wonderful sound. On playback at a loud volume there is only the common surface noise on the track divisions (not during the music itself, nothing major and seemingly always present on these coloured vinyl presses) - otherwise, the playback is flawless and as these two records are basically unplayed and are factory-fresh, I have no hesitation in giving this copy a MINT(-) audio grading
SLEEVE: Clean, bright and fresh with just a little 'knocking' to the corners and a small crease to the bottom spine corner. Otherwise, a very fine sleeve with a deep, glass-like gloss to the outer laminated surfaces and clean unmarked, unlaminated inner surfaces - EXCELLENT
INNER SLEEVES: Both of the original inners are clean, fresh and unmarked with no splits (which is rare for these inners) - MINT(-) The records are now housed - and will be posted in - 2 new inner sleeves (with anti-static liners) to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the original inners during transit
