The Beatles - 'The Beatles (The White Album)'. PMC 7067 / PMC 7068

The Beatles 1968 UK 1st MONO FACTORY SAMPLE pressing of the 'White Album' LP. These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the dark UK Apple label, all four sides of the vinyl feature the 'Sold in UK ....' statement. Factory sample stickers are on sides 1 and 3. This comes complete with the two original black die cut inner sleeves and ‘lipstick kiss’ poster (no colour pictures are included). All are housed within the top opening numbered sleeve No. 0176923. The sleeve has NO mention of stereo on the rear. A very rare opportunity to obtain a MONO factory sample issue of The Beatles White Album.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. XEX 709-2 1 G

Side 2. XEX 710-1 7 AT

Side 3. XEX 711-1 1 RD

Side 4. XEX 712-1 1 GT

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition on sides 1,3 and 4 and VERY GOOD- condition on side 2.

All labels are in EXCELLENT condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

The inner sleeves are in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+. I shall include additional inner sleeves for protection.

The poster is in VERY GOOD++ condition.
