The Beatles - 'Hey Jude / Revolution'. DP 570.
The Beatles 1968 1st UK EXPORT DEMO pressing of the 'Hey Jude / Revolution' 7" single. Released on the 30th August 1968, this rare issue comes complete with record mailer outer sleeve, picture sleeve, and demo vinyl featuring FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE sticker AND an ATV MUSIC LIBRARY sticker. It is offered here in wonderful EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT condition.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. The export issues were pressed in the UK in tiny amounts and destined for overseas export only.
Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature 'The Gramophone Co.Ltd' rim print and 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' text. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the b-side label. The vinyl is housed within the original and correct picture sleeve. The record mailer states 'RECORD - DO NOT BEND' and has a partial postage franking stamp in the right hand corner. An address on the front has been blacked out at some point. The rear features British, USA, French and Canadian patent numbers.
A very rare UK Parlophone export demo single in wonderful EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT condition, fully complete with picture sleeve and mailing envelope.

Side 1. 7XCE 21185-1 1 PA KT
Side 2. 7XCE 21186-1 1 G KT
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Both stickers do show signs of age and light staining (nothing bad) see pictures.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.
The record mailer is worn on the opening edge and shows damage to the opening flap. Otherwise great condition for an item such as this.
