Description

This is a copy of the 1968 UK “The Beatles” 2-LP, aka The White Album (Parlophone PCS 7067/7068). This is totally rare EXPORT issue!! Pressed in the UK in 1968 to supply other (European) countries, this edition is VERY rare. Although not in top condition, this copy is definitely a keeper, with fine labels and good vinyl. Originally there were NO inserts with this record (poster + 4 photos), if I'm well informed, but I've decided to include one of my own (UK) posters with this issue... Here's a rundown of each disc:

 

Disc 1:

Side One: Vinyl = EX. Label = VG++ (tiny marks from sticker removal). Very light spindle wear, matrix in dead wax: YEX 709-1, GDD at three o’clock. No embossed KT print.

Side Two: Vinyl = VG+ (some superfical scuff marks). Label = EX. Very minimal spindle wear, matrix in dead wax: YEX 710-1, LG at three o’clock. No embossed KT print.

 

Disc 2:

Side Three: Vinyl = VG+ (several scuff marks). Label = EX+++. Very light spindle wear, matrix in dead wax: YEX 711-1, PM at three o’clock. No embossed KT print.

Side Four: Vinyl = VG+++. Label = VG++ (tiny marks from sticker removal). Very light spindle wear, matrix in dead wax: YEX 712-2, GOP at three o’clock. No embossed KT print.

 

The lyric poster is in VG+ condition with some seam wear.

The LPs come in BLACK inner sleeves.

The outer sleeve is (of course) the Top Loader version. The number on the front is No. 0520896. The cover is in a solid VG+ condition. The spine print is not easy to read and there is no "Stereo" sticker on the back (found on some export issues).

 

Well, there you have it. A totally rare export copy of this legendary album. The set will be shipped as follows: I place the empty outer sleeve in a hard PVC outer cover. The discs come in plain white sleeves and will be placed on top of the outer sleeve, together with the poster and black inners. This PVC outer sleeve with its contents will be wrapped in bubble-plastic and then placed in a hard cardboard LP sized box. This way no damage can occur during transport.

As much as I’d like to ship it, REGISTERED Mail is no longer an option to countries outside Europe, so Priority Air Mail is the best option in this case.
