I bought this very rare Beatles Black Album Box Set back in the early 1980's and it has only been played a few times. It contains material from the 1969 "Let It Be" sessions in Twickenham Film studios in London in 1969. The Beatles perform bits and pieces many obscure, totally bizarre and never released songs along with the songs we all know and love from the "Let It Be" and "Abbey Road" albums. The 4th and 5th Albums appear to be songs from the soundtrack of the "Let it Be" movie. The Vinyl is in Near Mint condition with no noticeable scratches or scuffs. The labels are also in Near Mint condition with no writing on them. The large deluxe color Poster measures 22 inches by 33 inches. It is in Near Mint condition with no rips, tears or creases. The front of the poster is a montage of rare photographs of the Beatles many of which I have never seen anywhere else. The back of the poster is a series of transcribed interviews with the Beatles about these 1969 Sessions. Paul explains in one interview that this film is not going to be just another concert or event film like "Rock and Roll Circus". Instead "Let It Be" will be a case study of the Beatles in the studio creating and developing songs. Fascinating stuff. All pictures supplied are of the actual Box Set being offered.
