Various Artists - 'The Walls Ice Cream E.P'. CT 1.

The Beatles Apple Records 1969 UK 1st pressing PROMOTIONAL 'The Walls Ice Cream' E.P. Released on the 18th July 1969, and offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT condition.

These E.P's were ONLY ever available through a short lived promotional mail order campaign by Walls Ice Cream in the UK in July 1969. To receive the E.P you had to collect a number of ice lolly wrappers and send them back to Walls with a fee of 6/6d. They were never for sale to the public by record shops and the E.P never made the UK charts, so quite a rarity.

Released on the dark Apple label both sides feature the ’Sold in UK….’ text. The b-side features a rare embossed ’KJT’ tax code. The vinyl is housed within the original UK Apple picture sleeve.

The E.P features four Apple recording artists - The Iveys (later changed their name to Badfinger) 'Storm in a Teacup', James Taylor 'Something's Wrong', Jackie Lomax 'Little Yellow Pill' and Mary Hopkin 'Pebble and the Man'. Two of the Beatles, George Harrison and Paul McCartney were producers on this E.P.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 2. CT 1B-2 1 R KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition.
