Description

The BEATLES official USA original 1994 first issue of the 2LP vinyl of BEATLES “ Live at the BBC”. Made by CAPITOL, on APPLE labels. This Double LP sets contains 56 songs from their early years of radio performances, ‘62-65!! And this set was produced by George Martin, who cleaned up the tapes to the best 1994 standards!! This album is likely unplayed and fully shiny, EX all 4 sides. Outer cover and inner sleeves EX also. I have many copies of this album. It is not the BEST Beatles album, but it is my FAVORITE Beatles album. The Boys at their original best. Taking any “sad song and make it better” was their motto and their talent! The best “cover” band ever! The best Studio band ever!! The best “live” band ever!!!? All 4 sides are fully shiny, clean and barely played! Mostly these songs (25)are Beatles hit studio tracks, or songs (30) that they loved but never recorded for EMI. They recorded 88 total songs for BBC broadcasts. Many songs were performed 13 or more times. Others just once!!! So many bootlegs were selling these tracks that EMI-Parlophone-Capitol finally decided to release them even though the Beatles actually felt the quality was not up to their standard!! They searched for the best quality tapes and made them better. Soon enough they found the fans loved all their material, regardless! These songs all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! Quite wonderful, really!! And this album was redone as “Live at the BBC Volume 1” in 2013 (totally remastered and 1 extra song added!!), so this this brown cover version will never be replicated by EMI!!! See attached photos, actual sale item. Seller is 50+ year collector and keeper of all things Beatles related. Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. All purchases ship together for $5 total. Browse for others! Price reduces weekly till sold! Best to all! Beatle Lew.
