Full gloss Vinyl Looks and Plays Like New. Labels are super clean both sides.

COVER is VG+
Snapping bright and spanking clean overall though with a few tiny age spots, mostly on back, a couple of lightly bumped (still sharp) corner tips and a few edge creases. Seams and spine completely intact with no wear or splits. Spine titles are sharp, crisp and 100% legible.

RARE 1st ISSUE PROMO with MISPRINT labels

RELEASED in 1982 - commemorating 20 years from the 1962 first Beatles recordings (as in "...it was 20 years ago today...")

All-in-all, a highly listenable compilation of top BEATLES songs through the years  - running in chronological order.
...though with a designed limit of 20 songs, there are sure to be major Beatles Hits not included... *Not making the cut here: From Me To You, You can't Do That, Day Tripper, Eleanor Rigby, A Little Help From My Friends, Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds, Yellow Submarine, Lady Madonna... all major hits when they came out.

JACKSONVILLE PRESSING

Original FIRST COVER with back cover text in color: Side One/Two and the publishing credits and recording dates on the back are printed in light blue print and the bottom credits text and logos are printed in gray. A 2nd cover came out soon, later the same year, with all back cover text printed only in black.
LABEL MISPRINT on side 1: track 10: "Yesterday" has incorrect running time printed of 1:04, instead of 2:04 (this was soon corrected on the 2nd cover version).

...Also the label side 1 purple background shows a very faint but just discernible 'ghost' impression of the large Capitol logo that is at top of label ...this can be barely seen but is most noticeable at left side, though running up across center of label at an angle. this is minor and barely visible - but intriguing if not baffling, once you see it.
