Description
This is a very rare Beatles 'collector's' album. I bought this genuine vintage pressing of THE BEATLES - 20 x 4 via mail order back in the day. This is the earlier pressing on Ruthless Rhymes, Ltd. It contains an extra track not listed and that is not on the later pressings (with color covers).
It has a plain white cover with a loose printed title sheet. The label says it was made in Germany, but with vintage bootlegs that could have just been a tactic to try and protect themselves. I am the original owner and have played it maybe three times (once to grade it the other day).
I have stored it in a plastic sleeve since I got it. Buying albums like this back in the day was a tricky thing and they were rarely sealed. Check the many photos. There aren't many of these around.
I use GOLDMINE grading standards:
DISC - Looks NM-, plays VG/VG+ (closer to VG+) Side 1 a few tics here and there.
Side 2 has a bit more overall surface noise compared to Side 1. I played it and cleaned it a few more times and it got better with each play.
COVER - VG+ Slight corner dings, moreso the two on the open end.
It was hard to get any boot LP's through the mail back in the 70's, etc. with NO mail damage. Even if I ordered multiple ones at the same time. And there was no returning unless the record was broken in transit or something was horribly wrong.
I am pretty obsessive, so I may point out more than I should for my own good, but it's my nature. I am grading these by PLAYING them and looking at them. Check my Feedback. I have learned they don't credit back their fee if I end up partially refunding some of the shipping.
LP's are removed from their outer sleeve to help protect against edgewear and sent in plastic protective sleeve.
