Description

The BEATLES official UK original issue of the 3 LP vinyl of ANTHOLOGY 1. Vinyl Made in United Kingdom EMI/Apple Label(?). I believe UK had the pressing contract for Volume 1, and later Volumes 2 and 3 were pressed in USA. Occasionally Later Pressings from Japan and Italy can be found. THIS ONE IS ORIGINAL. I do not know if there is a USA version of A1. Contains 60 Outtake/Alternate/Live/Home versions of Beatles recordings, from 1950s thru 1964. Compilation produced by George Martin. Includes NEW Beatles tune for the project, FREE AS A BIRD from Lennon demo tape remixed in 1995 with McCartney, Harrison, and Starr adding their portions. Turns out Fantastic!! Released in conjunction with US Television special BEATLES ANTHOLOGY!! And of course there were the multi-set VCR and DVD Anthology sets too!! This 3 LP Vinyl album is STILL SEALED, presumably fully shiny, clean and unplayed. 60 Beatles tracks: Demos, Live, Studio, etc. They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies!
