THE BEATLES 3rd STATE BUTCHERS COVER vinyl record Original Mono Pressing of Yesterday and Today. This historic album is known for its BUTCHERS COVER that was released in 1966, but recalled to have the less controversial "trunk cover" pasted over its original cover. This copy is a 3rd STATE which refers to the trunk cover having been peeled off to reveal the cover in its original state. This cover was made and printed by Imperial Packing Co. Inc. as indicated by the number 6 left of the RIAA logo. Overall this is a very nice peel job, with all four lads very clean and nearly no residue from the peeled trunk cover. Here's your chance to own the holy grail of BEATLES records, an excellent copy for any BEATLES fan.
RECORD: VG (Record has some marks on both sides but plays well.) SLEEVE: VG (Sleeve is a very clean peel but has some small tears at bottom left. The top and bottom have small spine splits. Please refer to photos.)

(NM or M-) Near Mint nearly perfect copy. Record/Sleeve shows no obvious signs of wear.
(VG+) Very Good Plus or Excellent copy. Record/Sleeve shows some signs of wear that it was played and handled by previous owner who took excellent care of it.
(VG) Very Good copy. Record has noticeable signs of groove wear and some light scratches. Surface noice will not overpower the music. Sleeve has light ring wear and wear to spine and/or edges.
(G+ or G) Good Plus or Good copy. Record can play without skipping. Significant scratches, surface noise, and groove wear. Sleeve has very significant ring wear and wear to spine and/or edges.
