THE BEATLES - 4 x Vinyl LPs. "WHITE ALBUM" is an original 1968 numbered "SOLD IN UK" label text STEREO copy. No: 0452500

Very Good Minus Condition. Test played. Overall grading.

SLEEVES:     

VG- (MAGICAL MYSTERY is EX, although there is no booklet with it. Hard Day's Night and WHITE ALBUM are VG and Please Please Me is only GOOD as it has a big tear at the opening edge of the sleeve and writing all over the back - see photos)

Plain apart from THE WHITE album which has its matt black inners. However these are in a bad state with tears and splits

VG- (I have visually checked the LPs and test played a few tracks from each. Visually there is some obvious signs of wear but generally it is minor wear only. MAGICAL MYSTERY plays as EX. However, THE WHITE ALBUM double is quite scratched and only plays as GOOD. There are a couple of jumps on this. Apart from this LP the audio I test played sounded very good in most cases, although there is a little light crackle at times. PLEASE & HARD DAYS are VG. Overall I would say the LPs are VG minus. They are reasonable playing copies.)

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
