So much has been said and written about the Beatles -- and their story is so mythic in its sweep -- that it's difficult to summarize their career without restating clichés that have already been digested by tens of millions of rock fans. To start with the obvious, they were the greatest and most influential act of the rock era, and introduced more innovations into popular music than any other rock band of the 20th century. Moreover, they were among the few artists of any discipline that were simultaneously the best at what they did and the most popular at what they did. “I Want to Hold Your Hand” hit #1 in 1964.  “I Saw Her Standing There” landed at #14.  A double-sided hit.

Vinyl: Grading is by visual inspection only, and I’d have to rate it at least VG+.  The surfaces are mirror-like.

Labels: There is no writing, stickers, cut-out marks, stamps, drill holes, tears or rips.  There is a smidge of ring wear on the “I Saw Her Standing There” side

NOTE:  I’ve been told that Italy, Spain, and other countries do not provide the best postal service, and that delivery of items can take several weeks.  I have no personal experience with this at this point, but my foreign buying friends, please keep this in mind if and when your patience begins to wear thin.  I can only assure you that I’ll mail your item out in a timely way.  I cannot assure you that you’ll receive it in a timely way.

ALL SALES FINAL! –  In talking with other sellers, I’ve been told that, when it comes to audio media in any form, it has become all too commonplace for buyers to rip or record the material  they like, and then want to return the item for a refund.  Under this circumstance, it would be impractical for me to adopt a “satisfaction guaranteed” policy.  Look – I’ve been involved in over 3000 eBay transactions as a buyer and have a perfect feedback record even for those years when it really meant something.  On those very rare occasions in which I’ve encountered problems with others, matters were easily resolved without resorting to a third party.  Life has enough hassles without getting jacked around by people on eBay.  If I’ve screwed up – missed a huge flaw in my visual inspection, sent the wrong item, etc., I’ll make it right, but otherwise no returns on audio media please.
