Up for auction is a beautiful pressing of The Beatles '65 album, originally released in the U.S. on Capitol Records (ST-2228) in 1965:
-Guaranteed early pressing, not reissue -Black rainbow Capitol labels -Still in opened factory shrink wrap -Original paste-down cover -Original and correct orange Capitol inner sleeve -No UPC/bar code on cover
Condition: Cover is beautiful, still protected by original shrink wrap.  No significant signs of wear or age, just a couple tiny bumps and rubs at open corners (see photos).  Shrink is in very nice condition, no tears or losses, still shiny.  Has original price sticker on shrink (buyer can remove it if they choose).  Hard to upgrade. Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-)
Vinyl is also beautiful, still retains its original glossy shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just one very tiny superficial mark on first track of side one but doesn't affect quality of sound quality which is excellent, clean and clear.  Maybe some faint signs of vinyl having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes.  Spindle hole appears to have a factory double drill mark (see photo), but it doesn't affect the way it sits on the spindle or sound quality.  Looks like it's maybe been played only once previously. Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-)

I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing.  I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection.  I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
