Description
Rare still sealed mono version of Beatles '65, T 2228. This piece came from a Pittsburgh estate, a decades long resident of the Lawrenceville neighborhood. This record was purchased from the granddaughter who was cleaning out her grandmother's estate.
Records from the late 1950s and early 1960s were frequently sealed in a loose bag style sleeve (as is this piece) rather than shrinkwarp, which came into favor as the sealant of choice starting in the mid-1960s.
The jacket of this record has some damage please see pics to best identify any issues with the jacket. What I'm about to call out is not a comprehensive list of every minor imperfection on the jacket, please use photos for that, but rather a list of the more noticeable things. There's a split in the top right corner, wear on the bottom left and right corners and signs of a split forming on the bottom edge. Sleeve is open at top right and the two bottom corners.
