Vinyl-  Excellent+/Excellent-

 

Vinyl has a lovely sheen. There is little to fault either side 1. Side 2 has a visible (non-feelable) scratch across tracks 3-6. Otherwise, both sides have some fine hairlines and wispy sleeve removal lines. Nice vinyl.

 

Audio – Excellent

 

Audio is clean, bright and distortion free. There is some light background noise and crackle, particularly to run in/run off, lighter between tracks. Plays through scratch on Side 2 with no problems. There is a light scuff audible for the first half of Track 1 on Side 1. Nice sounding vinyl. 

   

Labels– Excellent+

 

Labels are in beautiful condition, Just some minimal spindle wear and light handling marks to both sides. Rim text starts "the Gramophone company.." Has the "Sold in the UK…" text across the centre.

  

Sleeve- Excellent

 

The Garrod & Lofthouse 'patents pending' sleeve is also in lovely condition. Just the most minimal of light creases to the laminated front, with a couple of thumbnails. Spine is clean and fully readable with no laminate cracking. The rear cover is also in great conditionwith clean external flipbacks. Has some very light age discolouration, otherwise very clean. There are a set of initials written towards the top (see photo). Opening edge has some furring and there is some light storage wear to corners.

 

Inner Sleeve- Excellent+

 

Not the original sleeve but an original EMI advertising sleeve from around 1967. Sleeve has some light creasing and age discolouration but no splits or tears.

 

 

 

Record will be removed from sleeve for posting. I will always obtain proof of posting.
