Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Collection of Beatles Oldies 12" 1966 RARE FIRST PRESS MONO original Parlophone LP vinyl press' in overall VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition. 



VINYL:-
Visual:

  • Side 1 - light hairlines only. Nothing deep or feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD+! Label is VERY GOOD+.
  • Side 2 - same as Side 1 except there are a few longer but non-feelable hairlines. 


Audio:
  • In my eyes, the audio is VERY GOOD!! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! Background crackle is present but it isn't interfering or overbearing. The punchy mono audio masks it well! The audio is punchy, crisp and LOUD! A very rich bass tone and crisp highs! A great copy to listen to, very enjoyable with no major issues just age-related background crackle. A deep clean could help with this. Lies very flat and plays very well! 



The original mono flipback sleeve is intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+! The front of the sleeve is nice and clean with some laminate creasing and light wear to the opening edge. The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with a few light stains and some age-related discolouration. Flipbacks are fully intact and tight. The spine is 100% readable and square! NO WRITING, NO GRAFFITI, NO RIPS and NO TEARS!
