Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - A Hard Day’s Night' 1968 stereo vinyl LP!


This particular pressing is the late 60s stereo pressing from 1968. It features the yellow Parlophone label and the ‘sold in.u.k’ extra dot misprint associated with a late 60s pressing. It’s in great condition and the sleeve has the period-correct small ‘stereo’ on the front cover.

Condition:

Vinyl (visual): 

Side 1 - the record has a wonderful gloss and shine with absolute minimal marks. Easily rates VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT. Label is VERY GOOD+. A very nice clean record.

Side 2 - same story as Side 1 but with a few extra hairline scratches - rates as VERY GOOD+.


Audio: I haven’t play-tested this record as I haven’t found the time but the visual condition of the record suggests it should play with clarity and no playing issues.


Sleeve: The original 1968 small stereo flipback sleeve is currently rated as VERY GOOD. The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine but it does have some light ringwear and some laminate creasing. The rear of the sleeve has some discolouration and the obvious staining to the upper right corner. Free from writing! The spine is nice and clean and fully readable with no splits to any seams!
