THE BEATLES: A HARD DAYS NIGHT 1st PRESS MONO PMC1230 3N/3N + EMITEX INNER VG+.
PLAY TESTED: June 2nd.
The vinyl plays with absolutely no skips/sticks or jumps.
‘And I Love Her’ has some light static, perhaps a little more noticeable during the guitar break.
Side 2 has some static/surface noise on intro.
‘Things We Said Today’ again has minor ‘crackling’, more noticeable mid-way through the track.
‘When I Get Home’. Tiny click at the end.
Some barely audible clicks into ‘I’ll Be Back’.
There may be the occasional pop elsewhere, but really very few, and I’d describe the audio as minimum VG+.

Mid size mono
Tracing paper lined Emitex die-cut inner sleeve.
First pressing, from July 1964, with black label with yellow logo and silver print. The Parlophone Co Ltd perimeter print. Recording first published 1964, and Sold in U.K. text. Label has thin print, and with KT tax code.
The item you’re bidding on is Variation A, and comes with ‘chubby’ and rounded type.

Visual Grading.
Labels.
Clean, bright, and with minimal spindle ware. Free of graffiti/marks etc.
KT tax code to Side 2 label.
Grading: VG+
Vinyl.
The usual hairlines/wispy lines/marks, but certainly nothing heavy or feelable.
Grading VG
Original Emitex Inner.
Some creasing, but absolutely no rips or tares. Two small marks (one looks like a possible finger print mark) to one side.
Grading is minimum VG+.
Original Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated sleeve has minor signs of ware to edges/feathering, and a small tape repair to bottom right corner (front)/bottom left corner to rear.
Other than some minor finger/hold marks, the sleeve is really very good/VG+. It’s free of graffiti, has no lifting of the laminate, and a strong easily legible spine.
I’d describe the overall package as minimum VG/VG+.
The item will be despatched via Royal Mail 2nd Class, at a cost of £3.35, plus 50p to cover packaging, and postal EBay charges.
I tend to be quite conservative in my gradings/descriptions, and therefore retain a 100% positive feedback rating, largely for vinyl. Thus, rest assured, you can bid with confidence.
