THE BEATLES A HARD DAYS NIGHT RARE 1st U.K. STEREO . YEX 126-1/127-1 matrices
Early 3MD/2RH stampers.
This is a great sounding rare First U.K. stereo press of The Beatles 3rd album ‘A Hard Day’s Night’. Mono was still outselling stereo records by about 10 to 1 in 1964, so these first stereo issues are hard to come by in decent condition.
Many critics think that, unlike the other early Beatles albums, this one sounds better in stereo.
The original sleeve is in VG condition with only real issue sone wear to bottom edge. Spine fully readable
Original Use Emitex inner sleeve in VG+ condition
Labels are VG+ with minimal spindle wear.
Visually both sides are at least VG. Several scuffs and hairlines but nothing deep or feelable
Like most 1960s EMI vinyl, this plays even better than it looks.
Side one plays close to excellent with only occasional crackles in between tracks noticeable. Great clear sound. No clicks sticks skips or jumps
Side two plays VG+ - maybe a few more crackles. Still no other issues such as clicks or skips.
Record sits fully flat on the turntable.
