The Beatles - 'A Hard Day's Night (Extracts From The Film)' EP. GEP 8920.
The Beatles 1964 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'A Hard Day's Night (Extracts From The Film)' EP. Released on the 4th November 1964, and offered here in simply wonderful all-round EXCELLENT+ condition. It would very hard to improve upon this. These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Many of The Beatles previous EP's had sold in such large amounts that they topped both the EP charts and gained incredibly high positions in the singles charts. With this release The Beatles did have a number one EP but this only peaked at number 34 in the singles chart. This can be put down to the release of the LP 'A Hard Day's Night' months earlier in July 1964 from which all the tracks are taken. Why buy the EP when you already have all the tracks on the LP? That very fact has made this one of The Beatles rarer EP's to locate.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label. Both vinyl labels feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text, the 'Recording First Published 1964' text and have 'The Parlophone Co Ltd....' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side 1 label. This comes housed within the original and rare 'EJD' printed sleeve which is in simply stunning condition. This is by far the best I have ever seen in years of collecting.

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition. Very hard to find in such remarkable condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition. STUNNING.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. It would be incredibly hard if not impossible to improve on this sleeve. Very near MINT- condition.
