THIS IS A 1ST PRESSING IN MONO FROM 1964

ONE FOR THE BEATLES COLLECTORS.
Condition:
Sleeve: GOOD : Garrod & Lofthouse "flipback" sleeve, with all seams intact. A reasonable amount of edge creasing, and the front shows a mark where a sticker has been removed. The reverse is discoloured with age, and the bottom right corner shows some staining and marking. Also note that there is a tear repaired with tape just above Lennon's head. The spine is good and strong with bold title print. There is scuffing to opening edges.
Complete with original "EMITEX" inner poly lined sleeve. It is creased and has splits to two edges.
Record: VERY GOOD : Nice clean sheen to the vinyl. Labels are good, showing handling marks with age and only average spindle wear.
There are several light surface scuffs and hairlines, but all small ind insignificant. They certainly don't have any adverse effect on playback.
Personally checked for sound and quality - and it plays very well throughout, with some light noise between tracks and with no skips or jumps.
A good clean example of an original 1964 FIRST PRESSING.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
