The Beatles - 'A Hard Day's Night' - Mono 12" Vinyl LP - Parlophone - 1964
Description
- Vinyl mono LP. 33 1/3 rpm
- This seems to be the 1st pressing (see http://thebeatles-collection.com/wordpress/2011/07/16/a-hard-days-night-parlophone-pmc-1230) which was issued in 1964 on the Parlophone label. This appears to be variation B of the label
- Features songs from The Beatles first full-length feature film of the same name which also featured the likes of Wilfrid Brambell, John Junkin, Deryck Guyler and Victor Spinetti among others.
- All songs written by Lennon and McCartney
- Track listing.
- Side 1:- Track 1 - A Hard Day's Night, Track 2 - I Should Have Known Better, Track 3 - If I Fell, Track 4 - I'm Happy Just To Dance With You, Track 5 - And I Love Her, Track 6 - Tell Me Why, Track 7 - Can't Buy Me Love
- Side 2:- Track 1 - Any Time At All, Track 2 - I'll Cry Instead, Track 3 - Things We Said Today, Track 4 - When I Get Home, Track 5 - You Can't Do That, Track 6 - I'll Be Back
- Black label yellow with the Parlophone logo and name. “THE PARLOPHONE CO> LTD…” and “MADE IN Gt. BRITAIN” under the track listing. Laminated outer sleeve with lower-case “mono” and with flip-backs .

- Paper inner sleeve with polyvinyl lining with care and playing advice on one side

Condition
- The record appears to be in very good condition there are a couple of scratches, but they don't seem to be particularly audible. There are no signs of warping.
- The outer sleeve is a little grubby, particularly at the opening. Some slight creases and slight edge and faint ring wear
- The inner sleeve is quite creased and has some marks but is clean and intact (see photos)
- I would grade this set as 'Good +' as per Record Collector's grading guide (see http://recordcollectormag.com/advertise/listings-help)
