Rare 1964 South African first MONO press 12-track LP of The Beatles’ A Hard Days’ Night(PMCJ 1230) pressed on the black old-school Parlophone label.

The sleeve is in excellent condition and is one of the better sleeves you’ll get for this LP, as most are often found in far less shape. Legible, sharp spine ; solid build on the cover etc. There’s very minor wear at the back but nothing major whatsoever. This is a really solid cover that has been looked after pretty caringly, and for its 50 year-old age, has seriously stood the test of time with more life to live.  Overall rating for the cover = EX.


The vinyl is close to an EX grade, so Vg++ will do just fine on this one. One of the best you’ll get in condition for this LP. There’s a vivid lustre on the LP with extremely few, light hair-lines under strong light but nothing more than that. Thecentre labels are immaculate with no defect. Overall, the vinyl is Vg++.

 

A great addition for 60’s vinyl music and especially Beatles’ collectors worldwide and a seldom find in very respectable condition indeed.
