Released on 10th July 1964, A Hard Day’s Night marked the height of Beatlemania — their third LP, and the first to feature only Lennon-McCartney compositions. The mono mix heard here is the version personally overseen by George Martin and The Beatles themselves, offering the authentic sound of 1964 Abbey Road.
The 3N/3N matrices indicate an early Parlophone cut, retaining the warmth and drive of the original metalwork. Mono remains the definitive way to experience this LP — tight, punchy, and brimming with energy.
