Description

Original 1st UK mono pressing of The Beatles classic album “A Hard Days Night” from 1964


Matrix numbers / mothers / stampers

Side 1: XEX 481-3N / 1 /ARD

Side 2: XEX 482-3N / 3 /AAR


Variant 1 labels. KT Tax code


Vinyl is in really nice condition. It has a few very light scuffs when viewed under strong only. This has been really well cared for and visually grades as EX.

It has been fully play tested and is a really nice sounding record with barely any reduction in sound quality. No background crackle on spaces between tracks or run ins. Only thing I noticed was 2 or 3 very very soft, barely audible clicks between “A Hard Days Night” and “I Should have known better”. Play grade is EX+ overall genuinely and sounds superb.


The sleeve is VG+ with light edge wear and some discolouration on the rear. Certainly nothing major at all (see photos).


The Emitex inner is VG with seam splits on 2 edges, however I think I have a an EX spare I can include with this and the original.


Overall a really nice playing copy of this classic Beatles album.
