Description

THE BEATLES ABBEY ROAD 1969 UK 1st vinyl, MISALIGNED APPLE 749-1,750-2
An exact match with this Discogs listing - /release/2607424-The-Beatles-Abbey-Road
This release was originally printed with a misaligned Apple Records logo on the back, which was later corrected. The front cover photo is more tightly cropped than on other releases, showing less sky (noticeable over the roof tops right) and less of the drainage grating bottom right.
Also, Her Majesty was originally not printed on the side B label. This was added later.
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, variant 1): YEX 749-2 Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, variant 1): YEX 750-1
ABOUT THIS COPY: There is a bit of edge wear and laminate lift on the sleeve, no major rips or wear though - see photos
Labels are good - no ink marks or rips
There are lots of light marks on both sides , no deep scuffs or scratches, just normal wear and tear
It plays well, no jumps, loud background noise or sticks - some light crackle in the background here and there- a few ticks on HCTS and some louder crackles on Side 2. Still an enjoyable listen overall...
