A UK ORIGINAL pressing from the brilliant Beatles - their final lp, recorded with George Martin after 'LET IT BE' was temporarily shelved (to have the tapes overseen by Phil Spector).
The first available release had the song 'Her Majesty' omitted on the lable and sleeve, but it was discovered that the engineer had left it on the tape submitted for mastering. This has NO 'Her Majesty' title to the lable OR the cover.
The Fab Four had grown as composers and musicians, and it's evident on this progressive album.
No more playfully obscured lyrics about eggmen, an ancient Rock and Roll tune finally polished enough - just excellent recordings that will stand up in history.
Pursuant to 'The White Album' (as nicknamed), the lads were showing their individual personalities and compositions. Paul delivers a brilliant medley, John a few outstanding rock vocal performances, and they all conceded that George had presented the finest songs in 'Something' and 'Here Comes The Sun'.
A historic album that stands out still today, and will surely continue to prove their status as THE greatest single band ever.
They still are unsurpassed.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG++ to EXCELLENT.
Labels are EXCELLENT. No pen, stickers or stains. Both have spindle marks.
The original FULLY LAMINATED COVER is VG+. (The metal hatch in the road is clearly seen)
Some general wear.
These first copies also included the black soft paper inner sleeve, included.
