Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks. Please read the entire listing to avoid any misunderstanding.
THE BEATLES – ABBEY ROAD – 1st PRESSING – NO HER MAJESTY – BLACK INNER – EX
I think that the presence of the original (white album style) black inner sleeve makes this quite an early 1st pressing.
Nice glossy vinyl with a few very light surface lines, but only really visible in a bright light.
Identifiers:
Matrices: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
“Her Majesty” is not mentioned on either the label or the sleeve.
The small edge of a drain cover is visible at the bottom of the front photo, level with Ringo and Johns’ feet.
Run-ins have a very light crackle, that can still be heard for the first 15 seconds of side 2, but all fine when the music plays. I also noticed a tiny bit of light crackle at the end of “You Never Give Me Your Money” as it fades into “Sun King”, mentioned for completeness, but it doesn’t really intrude. Overall, it plays well with great sound.
Original black inner is a little frayed along the top edge, but still good to have.
Fully laminated sleeve is a little rubbed around the edges, but all in one piece. Small sticker at top left on back, looks as if it would come off easily, but I haven’t tried.
Please look carefully at the photos as they are part of the description.
