THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD:
1st UK Press, Apple Records – PCS 7088. This version is the "first label, revised cover" version. Dark green labels with a whole apple on the A-side label and a half, sliced-open apple on B-side. The labels have the "(An E.M.I. Recording)" text on two lines and small "33 1/3" text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with a small ℗ symbol. The listening experience is between G and G+ (a lot of hairlins / superficial scratches and matting, still quite pleasant listening with sounds in the background). The cover is VG+ (well-kept and nice). A rare version of the cover with a visible drain, the so-called "Drain" Cover, on the lower edge. Plain inner sleeve. Matrixes: YEX 749-2 / YEX 750-1.
